In the final stages of site plan approval, this 501(c)(3) agency is the first building phase of the family community life center building project and will house a twentyfour hour, multi-shift, day care facility targeted to serve lower- and middle-income families in our area. For several years, our church has sponsored two major fundraising events to support the eventual implementation of this center-based child care program: The annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Breakfast, which attracts over 800 participants, and the annual golf classic held each summer which has contributed approximately ten thousand dollars in designated funds annually.
